Pediatric Ostomy
Pediatric ostomy bags are designed for newborns, infants and children with a colostomy, ileostomy, or an urostomy. A colostomy and an ileostomy require a drainable ostomy pouch. An urostomy as well as a very aqueous colostomy and ileostomy call upon an urostomy bag with a drainage valve. Closed ostomy bags are good when waste is minimal or when there is activity. Children swallow air so an ostomy pouch with a filter is useful - Suitable for colostomy and ileostomy bags only. Pediatric ostomy bags come in one and two pieces.
