Drainage Bag
A Drainage Bag collects urine. It attaches to a catheter tube that in turn connects to a urinary catheter. Drainage bags must be positioned lower than bladder height but not on the floor. Tubings must be above bag level. Emptying should be done when half full. Clean wholly to avoid Urinary Tract Infections and reduce odor. Check urine color and odor before disposing.
