UNIFY Surgical Polyglycolic Acid (PGA) Sutures is a braided coated synthetic absorbable surgical suture composed of glycolide, a nonantigenic and nonpyrogenic polymer. PGA is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in ophthalmic procedures, but not for use in cardiovascular and neurological procedures.
Each box contains 12 individually sterilized foil packs of sutures and one instruction sheet. The suture is sterilized with ethylene oxide (EO) gas and normally will have 1-3 years of shelf life.
